CBE has announced, Dominic Feeney has been appointed CEO, while Gearóid Concannon moves into the role of Managing Director. This follows the retirement of Sean Kenna from the position of CEO; Sean Kenna will continue as an active member of the Boards of the Concannon Group of Companies.

Shopper numbers across Britain rose 1.5% in the week to 15 January versus the previous week, driven by a return to high streets, researcher Springboard said on Monday. It said shopper numbers, or footfall, last week were up 7.2% on high streets week-on-week, though down 4.9% in retail parks and down 4% in shopping centres. "It seems that whilst the government's (COVID-19) Plan B guidance to work from home if possible is still in place, there are the first signs that employees are starting to drift back to the office," Springboard director Diane Wehrle said.

Orkla Health has purchased 95% of the shares in Vesterålen Marine Olje AS, which produces various residual raw materials from white fish for use in the production of cod liver oil and other products. Vesterålen Marine Olje, which has offices and production facilities in Myre, also comprises the subsidiaries Vesterålen Marine Proteiner AS and Vesterålen Marine Ingredienser AS in addition to a 30% equity interest in Vesterålen Marine Seaweed AS.
