Oterra Announces Hubert Windegger As New Chief Financial Officer

Today, natural colouring producer Oterra announced its incoming chief financial officer as Hubert Windegger, who is due to take up the role on 22 April 2024.

Windegger joins the company with over 14 years of financial leadership experience.

He previously held roles at private equity-owned carve-outs, and as the chief financial officer of ASK Chemicals.

In its statement, the chief executive of the company, Martin Sonntag, said that Windegger’s strategic insights and track record in driving growth make him “an invaluable addition to Oterra.”

The change comes as the current chief financial officer, Mads Dehlsen Winther, has decided to step down from his role to explore other career opportunities.

Dehlsen took over as chief financial officer in April 2023 and was additionally an interim chief executive officer for the company from June 2023 until January 2024.

Sonntag said of Delhsen Winther’s departure, “I sincerely thank him for taking on the interim CEO role until I joined as CEO on January 1st, 2024.

“Additionally, I commend him for his significant contributions during his tenure, particularly his role in improving the finance function and contributing to the leadership of Oterra during a period of continuous transformation.”

The Danish-based company is the largest provider of naturally sourced colours worldwide.

Established in 1876, Oterra champions natural colours and continues to offer its expertise in colours for food, beverages, dietary supplements and pet food to manufacturers globally.
