Value Centre Adds New Fleet To North Western Network

Value Centre has made a considerable investment into its North Western network with the purchase of a fleet of six new trucks to enhance its service to businesses in the region.

The company has invested €700,000 in its North Western business with the addition of these trucks. Value Centre Letterkenny has also undergone considerable investment and upgrading in recent years, to make it a state-of-the-art facility for local businesses. 43 people are currently employed in the facility, rising to over 50 during seasonal periods.

The upgrade also included a range extension of chilled and frozen foods which were showcased at a recent customer event held in The Silver Tassie Hotel.

Kieran Barron, Manager, Value Centre Letterkenny commented on the additions: “This investment is very exciting for us and hopefully demonstrates our commitment to the local economy. We expect customers to benefit from a hugely expanded product range and a significantly enhanced distribution service at industry leading customer service levels. We pride ourselves on providing superior customer service and the fact that we are locally based we can offer friendly and expert advice.”

With 21 branches in locations across Ireland, Value Centre is the leading cash & carry wholesaler with the largest branch network in Ireland. Value Centre is owned and operated by the Wholesale Division of BWG Foods.
