IT Tralee Launches Taste Of Science Resource For Food Producers

IT Tralee has launched Taste of Science, a free online resource designed to keep food producers up to date on new trends, scientific knowledge, and technological developments.

The website will also address changes in EU legislation with regards to food production, as well as subsidy and regional protection for products.

Dr. Helena McMahon, Commissioning Editor, Institute of Technology Tralee commented, "Keeping in mind the time demands of running a business, Taste of Science provides a high return on time invested.

"It connects, informs, and supports food entrepreneurs with technological and business intelligence that is application-ready."

Taste of Science’s Editor in Chief, Jeroen Knol, added, “On top of tasty and safe foods, consumers want food to tell a story, have natural ingredients and be prepared in a transparent and sustainable way.
