Eric Cantona To Star In Just Eat's New TV And Social Campaigns Ahead Of EURO 2020

Just Eat has announced that football star Eric Cantona will be the star of its TV and social campaigns to support its sponsorship of EURO 2020.

The food delivery group is offering customers who order between now and the final match a chance to win various prizes.

EURO 2020

As part of Just Eat's sponsorship of EURO 2020, all customers who place an order on Just Eat from Thursday May 27 May until Sunday 11 July can be in with a chance of winning Just Eat vouchers and UEFA EURO 2020 prizes, with over 75,000 prizes up for grabs.

Having completed their traditional order for breakfast, lunch or dinner, consumers will then be invited to take the Historic Clashes Quiz to test their football knowledge and be in with a chance to win.

Prizes will also include Just Eat vouchers worth up to €50, and more tournament merchandise like Official UEFA EURO 2020 Balls and mini balls, Dopper bottles and UEFA shop vouchers.

The long awaited tournament will be played between 11th June and 11th July in different venues across Europe.

Eric Cantona

Eric Cantona is one of football’s most iconic stars, having won four Premier League titles in five years and two League and FA Cup Doubles for Manchester United, scoring 82 goals for the team in five years.

After finishing his professional football career he successfully turned to acting, directing and producing.

In celebration of the sponsorship of EURO 2020, which will finally start next month, Cantona now stars in 'The Just Eat Delivery' campaign, which shows the perfect parallel between football and food.

‘The Just Eat Delivery’ shows how the anticipation of watching the EURO 2020 matches goes together with the order and delivery of Cantona's favourite food and the courier being amazed at the doorstep of his football hero.

Commenting on the campaign, Cantona said, “EURO 2020 will be the highlight of the summer for so many people. There is no better feeling than watching some of the greatest teams in the world."

"Every household will make an occasion of it so I’m delighted to partner with Just Eat to make sure families are enjoying the matches while eating their favourite food, and this way making that experience unforgettable," he added.
