Bord Bia Announces Details Of International Marketing Fellowship Programme

Bord Bia has announced that it is selecting 20 candidates for a 12-month International Marketing Fellowship Programme.

The career-enhancement initiative, in association with the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, is part of Bord Bia’s aim to reach a €12 billion export target by the year 2020.

The graduate scheme will offer the chosen individuals the opportunity to complete an Msc International Marketing Practice masters, while completing ‘action learning assignments’ on behalf of Irish food companies in one of 12 overseas markets, in addition to free tuition and a bursary of €22,800.

Michael Murphy, Director of Markets, Bord Bia said “With Irish food and drink exports approaching €10 billion for the first time in 2013, there has never been a more exciting time to get involved in our largest indigenous industry.

“We are looking for some of Ireland’s most ambitious, energetic and motivated individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds to represent us on the world stage and make a real difference to the future of our food and drink industry.”
