Cuisine De France Parent Aryzta Posts Revenue Increase In FY13

Aryzta, the parent company of Cuisine de France, has posted a revenue increase of 7.6% to €3.086 billion in its financial year to end 31 July 2013.

Pre-tax profits at the Switzerland-based food group were up 10% to €329 million. “Revenue growth and margin expansion performance was robust in FY 2013, given the level of change management achieved across the business," said the company's chief executive, Owen Killian.

"Underlying revenue growth remained positive, and the improved diversification of our channel mix should improve the sustainability of this growth."

Aryzta's Food Europe business, which includes Cuisine de France, saw its revenue grow by 9.3% to €1.4 billion, driven mainly by the acquisition of the Klemme business last year.

The company said that in the year ahead it will focus on "completing the reorganisation and transforming of the business into a customer-centric company focused on consumer trends and customer requirements."
