Olympic champion Katie Taylor has launched National Cupcake Week, organised by food and facilities provider ARAMARK. National Cupcake Week, which runs from the 28th June to the 5th of July 2013, seeks to raise funds for the ARAMARK Charitable Fund in aid of four charities: Red Branch, Console, Bodywhys and Chest, Heart Stroke.
Speaking at the launch, Iris Wade, Head of Corporate Responsibility at ARAMARK said, “This is our fifth year running this campaign which helps to raise vital funds for our nominated charities. To date we have raised over €18,000 selling over 15,000 cupcakes and with the public’s help, we hope to exceed this amount in 2013."
As part of National Cupcake Week, ARAMARK will be selling a special 'Katie Cupcake' across all of its food services sites throughout Ireland.
