Forest Feast has announced its continued sponsorship of the 'Little Athletics' programme, in partnership with Athletics Ireland.
The Forest Feast Little Athletics programme introduces five to ten-year olds to athletics in a fun, non-competitive environment, using games to develop fitness, while enhancing agility, balance and co-ordination.
Christine Whelan, Forest Feast Field Sales Manager said, “Forest Feast is delighted to announce the continued support of Athletics Ireland’s Little Athletics programme for a second year. The Forest Feast Little Athletics clubs are a great way for children to make new friends and get involved with sports at grassroots level.
“The initiative allows children of a young age to try various different sporting activities while receiving professional instruction from Athletics Ireland. The children participating in Little Athletics associate fitness with fun which is hugely positive,” she continued.
Irish long jumper Adam McMullen commented on the announcement, “The Forest Feast Little Athletics programme is brilliant - it encourages young kids to get active and more importantly have fun. It is a great way for kids to develop their athletic ability and experience a whole range of athletics events.”
