HB's 'Goodbye Serious' campaign was the biggest spender on outdoor advertising in June, according to the latest Posterwatch report from PML Group.
The ice cream brand continued its summer push by accounting for approximately €425k worth of spend, ahead of Coca Cola, which accounted for €411k worth of spend, and 7Up Free, which accounted for €354k worth of spend.
Other big spenders during the period included Nestlé Aero Mousse (€332k worth of spend), Cadbury Air (€255k worth of spend), and Nestlé Kit-Kat (€182k worth of spend).
In terms of categories, the Finance category once again accounted for the highest level of Outdoor spend for the month (€1.8 million), just ahead of Confectionery & Snacking (€1.69m worth of spend).
According to the report, 'June had a more financial feel to it as mortgages were top of the agenda for the second half of the month. EBS, Ulster Bank and AIB were all on display in June, taking the category to number 1 in the rankings for the month. Other advertisers active in the category in June included Visa and the insurance brand its4women.ie.
