Did you know...? Carroll’s of Tullamore has led the way in the development of the grab-and-go segment within the cooked meats category. Its premium quality deli meats are now available sliced and pre-packed for the convenience of the customer, the company said. A great solution also for retailers who don’t have a deli counter in-store, it added. To further grow this segment and attract new shoppers, Carroll’s has launched two new premium innovative products. Carroll’s Off the Bone Delicatessen Ham is a superior quality product, carved off the bone and each slice is thick cut. It is made using 100% Bord Bia approved Irish pork and comes in two flavour variants – Traditional and Honey Roast (RRP €5). For more information, visit here.

As of Q1 2021, the company boasted 7.28 million customers, compared to 4.18 million in the first quarter of last year.

Did you know...? Irish factory activity hit all-time highs in April as the reopening of key partner economies boosted new orders and lifted confidence about future trading, a survey showed on Tuesday. But it also showed signs of inflationary pressure as supply chains were stretched by Brexit, the Suez Canal blockage and global raw material shortages. The AIB IHS Markit manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) jumped to 60.8 in April from 57.1 in March and from 52.0 in February.
