Love Irish Food Launches 2015 Brand Development Award

Love Irish Food, in partnership with outdoor advertising agency Exterion Media, has launched this year’s Love Irish Food Brand Development Award, which will award one of its member brands with a premium advertising platform.

The winning Love Irish Food member will receive €70,000 in advertising space, scheduled across Exterion Media’s retail six sheet portfolio, PurchasePoints and across its digital network. The out-of-home campaign will appear nationally for two weeks and includes print production, as well as digital animation for broadcasting on Exterion Media’s digital network.

To celebrate the fourth year of this award, OwensDDB Advertising Agency will also provide the winner with an €8,000 creative bursary towards the campaign.

Kieran Rumley, Executive Director, Love Irish Food commented, “This initiative is one that we are very proud of and is reflective of the core goal of Love Irish Food as an organization which is to promote and support Irish manufactured food and drink brands.”

Rumley explained that because small and medium-sized companies may not have the chance to advertise on a national level, the Brand Development awards represent a huge opportunity for Love Irish Food brands to connect with their target audience and bring their brand to the next stage in development.

The brand owner should have a clear vision how they can capitalise on this campaign and what benefits it will bring to their business.”
