Ireland’s Top 5 TV Food And Drink Ads In April

Guinness’s ‘Guinness Zero Six Nations Sponsorship’ is the most popular advert on the TV in April in Ireland, according to research conducted by Behaviour & Attitudes on behalf of Checkout.

In second place is the McDonald’s advert for the Chicken Big Mac being back for a limited time.

The Cadbury Easter advertisement – to place an egg in a special place for the person you love – claims the third-place position.

The ‘Worldwide Hide’ campaign by Cadbury is a virtual Easter egg-hiding experience, wherein consumers can hide an egg for someone with the aid of Google Street View and share a personalised clue with their loved one, to help him/her find a hidden Easter egg.

The TV ad features a giant purple egg placed in locations around the world, including the beach, the forest, and a small village.

Various ads involving people drinking Coca-Cola is in fourth place, while Domino’s ‘three guys on an island order Domino’s’ ad is in fifth place.

The creative opens on a tropical desert island, where three castaways are stranded.

As they gaze into the distance, dreaming of food that they would like to eat, one of the guys yodels, ‘DOMIN-OH-HOO-HOO,’ and a jet ski delivery driver appears, carrying a Domino’s pizza.
