Heineken Ireland has appointed Alison McMahon as head of innovation, according to a statement it issued today (14 March).
Reporting directly to Radina Shkutova, marketing director, McMahon will lead the category and portfolio innovation strategy, while also overseeing management of the innovation funnel.
McMahon has been with Heineken for 13 where she previously worked in four different roles - as category strategy & development manager, category strategy & innovation manager, business strategy manager as well as the brewery’s on trade channel manager.
In relation to her new role with the Cork based, International brewer McMahon said: “Heineken Ireland is an incredible company and one that really over performs when it comes to innovation. I’m delighted to be taking on this exciting new role, and look forward to building on the bedrock of innovation and collaboration that has been so successful for us in recent years.”
Before joining Heineken Ireland, McMahon held various marketing positions in Dairygold Consumer Foods.
