Did You Know ... Drinks company S.Pellegrino has announced the return of S.Pellegrino Young Chef, a global competition for young culinary talent? The contest takes place over 18 months and previous winners include Ireland-based chef Mark Moriarty.
Did You Know ... Bloom by Bord Bia is returning for 2017? The event will be held from 1 - 5 June of this year. Bloom has also announced its postcard gardens exhibit and is seeking entrants from garden clubs, societies, community groups, GIY and conservations groups to enter the competition and showcase their horticultural talents inside a 2 metre x 3 metre plot.

This equals the number served in 2015.00 All in all, food inspectors served 94 Closure Orders, 3 Improvements Orders and 9 Prohibition Orders on retailers, restaurants, food manufacturers and processors through the country.
