Did You Know … packaging company Smurfit Kappa has entered the Guinness Book of Records by making the world's largest cardboard box? The box, designed and manufactured by the 'Smurfit Kappa van Dam' team in Helmond, in the Netherlands, measured 20 by 40 metres and has already been recycled. General Manager of the Smurfit Kappa van Dam plant, Wim Peeters, said: “We’re used to making extra-large boxes every day, but this one was in a league of its own. We’re looking forward to hanging our official Guinness World Record certificate on the wall!”
