Musgrave has made two appointments to its UK operation, with John Pattison and Mike Baker joining as brand directors for Budgens and Londis respectively.
Pattison, who joined Musgrave Retail Partners GB in 2013, previously held the role of retail director for both Budgens and Londis. He previously worked for BWG Group, as managing director of the group's UK-based Appleby Westward operation, as well as holding a myriad of positions with Somerfield.
Baker joins from Makro, where he held the dual position of trading director and head of own-brand for the past four years. He previously held the role of business development director with the Thresher group, as well as a number of operational roles with Sainsburys.
Musgrave's UK operation, now under the leadership of former Tesco retail director Peter Ridler, is in the midst of a turnaround strategy, following a disappointing FY 2013, where GB operations saw a 3% fall in sales.
The new appointments will be responsible for developing the brands' proposition going forward.
