They have also added a new festive drinks menu for their customers, which feature seasonal hot drinks such as Gingerbread Latte. Spiced Apple Winter Tea and White Hot Chocolate. The new drinks are available in their seven cafés nationwide.

Bord Iascaigh Mhara has announced the winners of the BIM Young Fishmonger competition, naming Anne Stephens of The Fish Market in Maynooth as the first female winner of the award. She took the title in the Independent category, while Scott Smullen of Dunnes Stores in Cornelscourt won in the Supermarket category. Meanwhile, Lar McCarthy of The Fresh Fish Shop in Bandon and Daniel Drwal of Tarpey’s SuperValu in Cavan were the winners in the Independent and Supermarket categories for the new Seafood Retail Business Award.
French retailer Carrefour has announced its commitment to selling only cage-free eggs under its private-label brand in Europe by 2025. Carrefour is committing to this new strategy for Carrefour-brand eggs sold in Spain and Romania, in addition to its targets set for France, Italy, Poland and Belgium. The retailer says that it is working with its partners on ending sales from cage-reared hens on a large scale by 2025.
The Irish Food Service Market has reached a record €7.8 billion in value, according to recent research conducted by Bord Bia. The research indicates that takeaways and "grab and go" outlets are the key drivers of growth in the market, while healthier food trends are increasingly influencing menus as well.
