Hula Hoops has partnered with Spinal Injuries Ireland to raise awareness and funds for its charity services. Hula Hoops will make a donation each time someone participates in the campaign this summer, by uploading their own hula-hooping videos to social media.

Genesis Crafty has opened a Bakery Academy in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland, with a curriculum co-designed by of College of Food, Agriculture and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE). The one year training course begins in September and students will receive an FDQ Level 2 Diploma upon graduation.

The Quiet Man Whiskey has scored Double Golds for its blended Irish Whiskey, as well as it's eight-year old Single Malt, at the San Francisco World World Spirits Competition. Managing Director of Niche Drinks, Ciaran Mulgrew commented, "This is a tremendous endorsement of the quality of both products by an influential panel of expert judges and will be immensely important as we drive global sales of our whiskies."

Marcia Lucia Bakes array of granola is now offered on breakfast menus throughout most of Clayton Hotels, within the Dalata Hotel Group. Maria Betts, developer of Marcia Lucia Bakes, commented, "The trade service is an important market growth for us. We believe that our products would work really well in hotels, as more and more people are opting for a gluten-free breakfast."

Armagh Cider of Armagh County and Kilmegan Cider of Dundrum, Co. Down were awarded in the 2016 International Cider Challenge. Armagh Cider earned a bronze medal for its Summer Fruit Cider, and Kilmegan won a major trophy, as well as, a gold medal in the Bottle Conditioned/Bottle Fermented category with its homemade Real Cider.

Cloughbane Farm Foods has designed three new products that have been listed by the Musgrave Group. All three products are priced at £2.99 and include, 450g packs of Bangers and Mash, 400g packs of Chicken Curry and Rice, and 400g packs of Spaghetti Bolognese.

Galaxy has revealed it will be sponsoring the 2016 Dublin Fashion Festival, which takes place across Dublin City from 6 to 11 September. Galaxy unveiled the sponsorship with an event featuring its research on Ireland’s relationship with style, and a lively panel discussion of style and fashion experts to discuss the findings.
