Aldi Ireland have revealed their best deals and products for Valentine’s Day as the holiday approaches.
The retailer has on offer meals, drinks, desserts and presents to offer a one-stop-shop for great value.
If you are looking for a candlelit dinner for two, Aldi has a delightful range of options, including the specially selected filled pasta (€2.69) with choices such as porcini, chanterelle and truffle, or basil and pine nut.
For fans of fish, Aldi’s range of specially selected melt in the middle fishcakes (€2.99) are perfect. With smoked haddock, salmon, spinach and lemon, or katsu cod options, there is something for everyone.
For a wholesome dish, try the butcher’s selection Irish chicken kiev (€4.99) paired with buttery mash.
With 30% off Aldi’s range of steaks from 12-14 February, steak and chips might be on the menu. Select your favourite cut from their specially selected Angus sirloin (€7.19), striploin (€7.99) or fillet (€10.99) steaks, available in store.

Finding the perfect wine to pair with your meal won’t be difficult, with Aldi’s Chilean reserve merlot (€7.99) or Santa Rita 120 cabernet sauvignon (€8.00) on offer for the red.
For a lighter white, the specially selected Chilean sauvignon blanc (€7.99) and the Santa Rita 120 sauvignon blanc (€8.00) are available.
Of course, a Valentine’s meal would not be complete without dessert. Aldi has a range of ice creams and puddings on offer, such as luxury Irish ice creams (€2.09) available in vanilla, triple chocolate, or caramel fudge.
Or for something more fulsome, try the fudge pudding (€2.99), rice pudding or bread and butter pudding (both €3.49).
If you are looking for an on-theme after-dinner treat, Bailey’s strawberry and cream truffles (€4.99), Thornton’s pearls salted caramel (€5.49), or Cadbury milk tray (€5.99) are all good options.
