Aldi Opens Its 120th Irish Store In Cashel

Aldi Stores (Ireland) today opened its eighth store in Cashel, Co. Tipperary bringing the total number of Aldi stores in Ireland to 120.

To celebrate the opening of the new store, Aldi served up breakfast and treats throughout the morning. All samples were prepared using Aldi products, many of which are sourced from Irish suppliers.

The day was filled with family fun and festivities, with entertainers providing face painting, balloon modelling and games for the kids. Beat 102-103’s Beat Fleet were also on site playing music, while five lucky Aldi shoppers scooped €100 each in Aldi shopping vouchers.

Speaking at the store opening, Darran Walsh, Manager of Aldi’s new Cashel store said, “We are delighted to open our new Cashel store and look forward to welcoming many new customers from the local area. Each Aldi store we have opened so far has been a fantastic success and we are looking forward to serving the local community.”
