Applegreen is creating more than 80 jobs with an investment of €10 million in a new service area at the Clondrinagh Roundabout, in Limerick.
The new location will include a fully operational service station, as well as offerings from brands such as M&S Food, Braeburn Coffee, Subway, and the Bakewell deli.
There will also be a stand-alone Burger King drive-through.
The Clondrinagh Roundabout service station will be Applegreen’s fourth Limerick location, and its 30th in Munster.
The service station will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the restaurants operating daily from 11am to 11pm.
The service area will also be spacious, to accommodate a high volume of customers, and a children’s play area will be included on the site.
‘Innovative Partnership’
Through the retailer’s partnership with M&S Food, the new Applegreen will have a range of M&S products, including Percy Pig sweets, M&S cookies, and Colin the Caterpillar cakes.
This will be the eighth location for Applegreen’s partnership with M&S Food, and the first in Limerick.
The deal is expected to expand to 15 additional ‘shop-in-shop’ stores by the end of 2024.

“This is really exciting for local customers, and since we began our roll-out of partnership stores with M&S last year, we have seen a very positive customer reaction to the new range.”
