Dealz Set To Open Three New Stores, Creates 120 New Jobs

Dealz has announced its plans to opening three new stores in Ireland in the run-up to Christmas, creating 120 new jobs.

The new stores will be located in Athenry, Limerick Crescent and Dublin, Belgard Retail Park, Tallaght.

Olivia McLoughlin, country operations manager for Dealz Ireland said: “We are delighted to be opening three new stores in the lead up to Christmas, as we continue to expand our Irish portfolio, further committing to the Irish economy."

Dealz’s 'Transformation'

Looking ahead, Dealz said that it is planning to open 10 further stores in regional town centres and retail parks, over the next 12 months in an investment of about €3.5 million.

The discount retailer said that the expansion is part of Dealz’s transformation which has also seen it extend the range of products.

All the new stores will also have PEP&CO clothing and homeware.

Dealz managing director Barry Williams said: “Dealz is going through the biggest transformation in our history and as part of that we’ve got ambitious plans to open new stores across the country where we can be a vital part of the retail community."

“We’ve broadened our ranges in household products and we’ve introduced PEP&CO clothing and homeware which means our customers can buy more of what they need under one roof," he added.
