Did you know ...? Packaging firm Elopak has reported 4% year-on-year growth in revenue, to €283.5 million, in the third quarter of its financial year, reports ESMmagazine.com. Adjusted EBITDA during the quarter amounted to €48.3 million, representing an improvement of €16.3 million, the Norwegian company added. In the EMEA, Elopak’s revenues grew by €13.3 million, compared to the same quarter last year, while its Americas business registered revenue growth of 5%, year on year.

Despar Italia, a consortium of six distribution companies and affiliated retailers, has had a positive 2023 so far, driven by the performance of its private-label products, reports ESMmagazine.com. In the first nine months of 2023, Despar Italia saw an 8.3% increase in turnover growth, despite inflation of 12.7%, driven by the growth of private labels, according to media reports.
