Donnybrook Fair Opens Its Doors At Dundrum Town Centre

Donnybrook Fair opened its doors to hundreds of shoppers at Dundrum Town Centre over the weekend.

The new store brings the number of Donnybrook Fair stores to six, across Dublin.

The Irish gourmet food retailer hosted entertainment outside the store to mark the occasion.

Late Late Toy Show star 14-year-old, Úna Walsh performed 'A Million Dreams' on the harp among other Christmas songs.

Singing trio The Bugle Babes were also on hand to get shoppers in the festive mood, along with Santa treating the first 100 customers to freshly baked Donnybrook Fair cookies and hot chocolate.

Various Culinary Counters

The new 9,688 sq ft store is situated over two floors, with a food market on the ground floor, featuring a butcher, cheese, juice and pizza counters along with premium wine and coffee areas.

The Loft restaurant is situated on the top floor.

Speaking at the new store opening, Des O’Mahony, managing director, Donnybrook Fair, said, "This year Donnybrook Fair celebrates its 20th anniversary, so it’s been extra special with this spectacular new store."

"It is very different to our existing stores and offers a real food adventure for people with our various culinary counters," he added.

COVID Procedures

Donnybrook Fair said that it is ensuring all COVID procedures are followed in-store and has been working in close partnership with the Dundrum Town Centre to ensure a queue management system outside the store.

The retailer noted that it has put in place signage and capacity limits within the store to ensure customers are safely distanced from one another.

Donnybrook Fair is located on Pembroke Square and is now open daily Monday to Saturday - 7.30am - 8pm, Sundays/Bank Holidays: 9am - 8pm.

LOFT restaurant opening hours are Monday to Wednesday - 8am - 6pm, Thursday to Saturday: 8am - 9:30pm.
