Cake producer Farmbake is partnering with forecourt retailer Applegreen to offer free cake to readers of the Irish Independent.
From Monday 20th April to Friday 24th of April, customers purchasing a copy of the Irish Independent in any Applegreen outlet will receive a free six-pack of Farmbake Madeira Cakes.
The promotion will be supported through advertising in the Irish Independent, as well as across all social media platforms by the campaign partners.
Alan Divney, Managing Director, Farmbake, explained that as the Irish Independent is the “most read newspaper among the main decision makers when it comes to shopping”, and Applegreen has 94 outlets nationwide, they were the perfect partners to encourage consumers to try Farmbake products.
“Once they have one bite – we know they’ll be Farmbake fans for life,” he added.
Joe Barrett, Chief Operations Officer with Applegreen commented on the promotion, “It is great to team up with Farmbake and the Irish Independent, two other Irish companies, to give that something extra to our customers.”
