Mandate 'Dunnes Workers' Solidarity Events To Hit The Capital

The series of 'Solidarity Events' held by Mandate at Dunnes Stores outlets around the country comes to Dublin city centre next week, after a series of events around the country over the past month.

Next Tuesday, 2nd June, an event takes place at the retailer's Stephens Green SC and Georges Street outlets, right beside the Dunnes Stores head office, from 2pm to 4pm.

Other events will take place at flagship Dunnes outlets such as Kilnamanagh (3 June), The Square Tallaght (3 June) and Cornelscourt (4 June).

The events, which have been organised to drum up support among members of the public for the Decency For Dunnes Workers campaign, will culminate in a
march to Dunnes Stores head office on Dublin's George's St at 1pm on Saturday 6 June.

Today (29 May), events will be held in Cork, at Dunnes' Douglas, Patrick Street and Carrigaline outlets.

Other events have already taken place in Louth, Galway, Meath, Westmeath, Offaly, Wexford, Clare, Kerry, Kilkenny and a number of other counties.
