New Look For Limerick’s Maxol Dooradoyle After €1m Investment

Maxol Dooradoyle, located on St Nessan’s Road, Co Limerick has recently undergone a transformation following an investment of almost 1 million.

The forecourt retailer has seen a range of upgrades and the addition of new features, including an expanded food offering and the introduction of Maxol’s new premium fuel range.

The investment includes an upgrade to the Maxol Deli and the introduction of a new Mexican food offering – Taste of Mexi-Co.

Also, a new ice-cream brand, N’ice Cream has been launched in-store, the group said.

The refit also includes an extension of the building, resulting in a spacious shop floor with an increased off-licence area, seating for 41 customers, upgraded restrooms, free customer WIFI and ATM in-store.

The refurbished roadside retail outlet also includes a new car wash facility, contactless payment at the services area and twelve additional car parking spaces.

Licensee of Maxol Dooradoyle, Kieran O’Shea commented: “Despite recent challenging months, we consider ourselves lucky to be in a position where we can provide an enhanced customer offering with our new premium fuels range, new and exciting food options and a new seating area, which will of course be carefully managed to abide by social distancing rules.”

Multi-Million Euro Investment

The Dooradoyle forecourt transformation is part of The Maxol Group’s national multi-million Euro investment plan across its network.

'This year seven sites will be fully refurbished to the latest Maxol forecourt and in store design,' the company said.

Speaking of the company’s latest investment, John Hadnett, regional manager for Maxol said: “As a family owned company, Maxol strives to be open to new ways of expanding services in its retail design and fresh food options."
