Unilever Runs Pre-employment Workshops For 'Skills For Work Week'

Unilever ran a number of pre-employment workshops in their offices in City West, Dublin over the past two days, in support of ‘Skills for Work Week’, according to a statement it issued this morning (31 March).

Aside from inviting participants to take part in marketing and e-commerce workshops, it also advised on areas such as how to improve their presenting, interviewing and CV writing skills.

Nick Johnson, Unilever Ireland Country Manager, said: “We are delighted to be involved again in Feeding Ireland’s Future. Today’s young people are tomorrow’s workforce so investing in and inspiring our young people is critical for our sustained business success.”

'Skills for Work Week' is a part of the Feeding Ireland’s Future initiative whereby retail and grocery companies provide free pre-employment skills for young people to help them on their path to employment.
