BWG Foods has been named as the country’s Best Freight and Logistics Provider at the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Mobility and Supply Chain Awards 2023, which took place in Dublin on Friday, 20 October at The Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.
The wholesale and retail group will now go on to represent Ireland at the prestigious European Logistics Association (ELA) Awards in Paris this December.
BWG Foods was recognised for its 'exceptional performance in managing freight, warehousing, and distribution along with its outstanding customer service, innovative solutions, and commitment to sustainability'.
The award highlights the importance of efficient and effective freight management in today’s global marketplace.
Award-Winning Logistics Division
BWG Foods’ award-winning logistics division is amongst the largest in the country, with operations in 25 locations with collective distribution space of over 1,000,000 square feet and 280 vehicles in operation.
The division supplies over 1,000 stores nationwide which together serve over one million people per day, along with a further 14,000 additional professional customers across the retail, foodservice and licensed sectors.
