Efficient Consumer Response Ireland (ECR) is hosting its ECR leaders Congress 2016 in O’Reilly Hall, UCD on the 21 September. This is the third year ECR is hosting the congress, with the theme this year being Innovation for Growth.
The key note speech will be delivered by Ken Hughes, CEO of Glacier Consulting and a leading consumer & shopper behaviouralist, titled “Your Consumer is Your Innovation Engine”.
Expert presentations will be delivered throughout the day, with David Higgins, Head of Innovation Commercialisation, Diageo discussing “Product Innovation at Diageo”; Eamon Howell, Trading Director at Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland discussing “Innovation & Food Academy at Musgrave”, and Nicola Barrett, Global Marketing Manager Jameson Innovation at Irish Distillers discussing “Driving Growth with Innovation: The Jameson Caskmates Story”.
There will also be two panel discussions, the first on the congress’ theme of “Innovation for Growth” with Stephen Dillon, Mondolez, Nicola Barrett, Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, and Eoin Butler, Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland. The second panel discussion will feature Bobby Kerr, Insomnia, Brian Lee, Chopped, Aoife Kearney, Maxol Group and Etain Seymour, IBM discussing “A focus on New Consumer Behaviour”.
Economic talks will be delivered by Matt Clarke, Commercial Director at Nielsen, James Walton, Chief Economist at IGD, and John Dillon, partner at PwC.
The congress will be MC’ed by Kingsley Aikins, founding director of The Australian Ireland Fund and CEO of consultancy company Diaspora Matters.
