Musgrave MarketPlace Expands To The Midlands

Musgrave MarketPlace – the largest food and retail wholesaler in the country – has announced that it will be expanding its delivery services to Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.

Noel Keeley, Managing Director at Musgrave MarketPlace, made the announcement at an event in Tullamore at which Musgrave Marketplace staff and suppliers were on hand to meet with local foodservice and retail customers and showcase their range of over 12,000 confectionary, dry goods, chilled, fresh and frozen products. Musgrave MarketPlace also donated produce to local charities as part of the event.

Speaking at the launch, Keeley said, “We are delighted to announce that foodservice and retail customers in the midlands will now be able to avail of our delivery service. Our expansion into the midlands region combined with our recent investment of €8 million in our delivery fleet means that we continue to deliver on our brand promise of ‘first for value, first for choice and first for service.”

Musgrave's national delivery fleet last month received an €8 million investment and saw 55 new multi-temperature trucks added to the arsenal. The new trucks will significantly reduce the company's carbon footprint and allow delivery of ambient, frozen and fresh food liqor alongside non-food products in a single delivery.
