Tesco Ireland Adds 10 New Locations To 'Click & Collect’ Service

Tesco Ireland has announced that it has expanded its ‘Click & Collect’ services in ten locations in the country to help customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new collection points have been added at Tesco outlets in Bailieborough in Cavan, Ballincollig in Cork, Galway Shopping Centre, Headford Road and Ballinasloe in Galway, Clonmel and Nenagh in Tipperary and Gorey in Wexford.

The free-of-charge ‘Click & Collect’ service allows customers to place their orders online after choosing a pick-up slot from a designated collection point.

Additional Slots

As part of the expansion, the retailer also has added additional slots at existing 'Click & Collect' sites throughout the country.

The additional slots are available at Tesco stores in Wilton in Cork, Killarney in Kerry, Coonagh in Limerick, Castlebar in Mayo as well as Tesco Extra stores in Drogheda and Dundalk in Louth, the retailer said.

“Now we are increasing the number of Click & Collect slots for customers across the country who prefer the convenience of shopping online in advance and collecting their shopping at a location convenient for them," highlighted Geoff Byrne, chief operating officer of Tesco Ireland.

“These additional brand-new and expanded sites, combined with our ‘think before you click’ campaign, will help us make more slots available to deliver shopping to the homes of those who need it most,” he added.
