Fujitsu Rolls Out Omni-Channel POS Application

Fujitsu has made its new omni-channel Point of Service (PoS) application available to Irish retailers as part of a global rollout, the company has announced.

The Fujitsu Retail Solution Market Place application allows retailers to increase revenue while reducing IT costs, by supporting enterprise-wide transaction and order fulfillment, enabling customers to make purchases via traditional PoS, online and mobile channels using a single user interface (UI).

The application has sparked global interest, from major retailers, retail analysts and retail architects alike.

Fujitsu Market Place combines both orders and in-store shopping in a single transaction, delivering uniform pricing, promotion and customer experiences across online, in-store or mobile device formats. The company says that it results in increased profitability for retailers through a reduction in ‘dropped baskets’, while providing customers with a quicker, simpler and more accurate service.
