Britvic Invests Over £100m In UK Production Facility

Drinks manufacturer Britvic has announced an investment of over £100 million in its facility in Rugby, Warwickshire.

The investment comes as part of a broader three-year investment in its manufacturing capabilities in the UK.

The investment has seen Britvic install three new PET bottling lines, an on-site warehouse and a new aseptic line to manufacture preservative-free beverages.

In addition to this, it unveiled three new can productions lines that will produce up to 6,000 cans per minute.

Efficient & Sustainable

The new developments also help Britvic reduce its carbon footprint by cutting out some of its road miles and improving its logistics planning.

The group welcomed British MP, Mark Pawsey, to a tour of the site. Jeremey Howard, director of production at Britvic said that the new-look facility is a proud moment for the team.

“Sustainability remains at the heart of our business and this project,” he said.

"Through our GB investment programme, we are investing for the future and remain committed to continuing to make a positive difference to our communities and to the world around us – helping to make it healthier, happier, and more sustainable.”
