SuperValu Introduces Five New Gin Brands To Celebrates World Gin Day

SuperValu has introduced five new gin suppliers to its shelves around the country to celebrate World Gin Day, which takes place today, Saturday 8 June.

In addition, the retailer is also launching a gin sale which will run in-store and online from Thursday 6 June – Wednesday 3 July 2019.

According to a statement, the retailer will have new flavoured gins and even non-alcoholic options.

Ballykeefe Extra Dry Irish Gin

 

Ballykeefe Extra Dry Irish Gin from Co Kilkenny will be the first part of the new collection. It is owned by Morgan Ging, a full-time farmer, who first set up the distillery in 2017.

This gin, which is exclusive to SuperValu, is retailing at €45 per 70cl bottle.

Listoke 1777 Small Batch Irish Gin

Listoke 1777 Small Batch Irish Gin is an award-winning gin that has been exported all over the world from Listoke Gin house in Boyne Valley, Co. Louth.

It reveals that the gin has a bountiful floral start, fresh orange middle and a lingering spiciness at the end.

70cl bottle of Listoke 1777 Small Batch Irish Gin is €40.

Beara Ocean Gin

Beara Ocean Gin and Beara Ocean Pink Gin will also be on the shelves, which takes its flavours from Atlantic seawater infusion and use of peninsula botanicals, sugar kelp seaweed and handpicked fuchsia.

Exclusive to SuperValu Beara Ocean Gin and Beara Pink Ocean Gin 70cl is €43.30.

Blackwater Tanora Irish Gin

Blackwater Tanora Irish Gin comes from the Blackwater Distillery in Cappoquinn, County Waterford.

The gin features a classic juniper profile, ginger and a whole metric-barn load of fresh tangerines to create a perfect Tanora inspired Gin.

Blackwater Tanora Irish Gin 50cl is €35 and is exclusive to SuperValu.

Ceder’s Crisp Gin

 

Ceder’s Crisp Gin is a non-alcoholic gin with a refreshing blend of classic gin botanicals such as juniper and citrus, combined with cucumber and calming chamomile.

Ceder’s Crisp Non-alcoholic Gin 50cl €25.

Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur

Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur is made using rich dairy cream and sourced from cows from farms in Co. Cork.

Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur has notes of butterscotch, caramel and vanilla making it the perfect after-dinner sipper.

Five Farms is exclusive to SuperValu, 70cl is €34.95.
