Marks & Spencer Ireland Launches Part Two Of ‘Farm To Foodhall’

Marks & Spencer Ireland has launched the second part of its ‘Farm to Foodhall’ campaign, which sees chef Mark Moriarty travel across Ireland.

The second instalment sees the celebrity chef visit one of M&S’s select farmers, Kevin Feeney, from Co. Mayo.

Top Quality

In this new part of the campaign, M&S Food ambassador Moriarty meets Feeney to explore the third-generation sheep farm.

He finds out how the farm is able to produce top-quality lamb for Marks & Spencer.

Feeney highlights the traditional stone walls, which provide shelter from the elements in the west, and the plentiful supply of high-quality grassland.

These elements, he says, are what ensure top-quality produce, and how all of Marks & Spencer’s lamb is 100% traceable.

The ‘Farm to Foodhall’ campaign highlights just a few of the farmers and producers across Ireland who provide high-quality food to Marks & Spencer.

The campaign also highlights the ongoing work of the retailer in expanding upon its existing range of products from Ireland.

Whether it is top-quality, premium meats from Irish farms or dairy products, such as artisanal cheese, customers can enjoy the best on offer, with products sourced to high standards.

The campaign will be visible across TV, social media, and out-of-home marketing, and through email, as well as in store.

‘Quality Starts At The Very Beginning’

Commenting on the campaign, the country director at M&S Ireland and Northern Ireland, Eddie Murphy, said, “Our ‘Farm to Foodhall’ campaign continues to champion the incredible work of our M&S Select Farms in Ireland.

“In our first edition, we visited our Irish berry supplier, highlighting how our strawberries are stem-picked by hand, to guarantee the best-quality fresh fruit for customers.

“In this next phase, we’re heading to the west of Ireland to visit one of our brilliant lamb farmers, Kevin Feeney, in County Mayo.

“All of our lamb is sourced from M&S Select Farms and is 100% traceable.

“Quality starts at the very beginning of the growing and rearing processes, so we want to highlight the work that farmers like Kevin and his family are doing from the earliest stage, to ensure our customers get the best-tasting and trusted quality lamb every time.”

Chef Moriarty added, “It was a pleasure to spend some time with Kevin and his family on their farm in Mayo.

“Seeing firsthand the passion and dedication that goes into producing such high-quality Irish lamb gives me so much inspiration to cook at home.

“The M&S range of lamb is absolutely delicious, and it’s even better knowing that we’re supporting local producers when we shop in store.”
