Did you know… Irn-Bru maker AG Barr has announced it will substantially reduce the amount of sugar in its products ahead of the introduction of the British government’s tax on sugary drinks? RTE.ie reports that the reformulation will help minimise the financial impact of the levy on the Scottish company.
Did you know… Lozenge brand Fisherman’s Friend has named Louth’s Cooley Peninsula Men’s Shed as the winner of its first Shed Series competition, which took place this week at the National Maritime Museum in Dun Laoghaire? The Men’s Shed movement was created to develop community spaces for men to talk about issues like health and well-being.
Did you know… A study by Vape Business Ireland has found that more than half of consumers would like to see more advertisements for e-cigarettes 'in places like shops, billboards, leaflets and brochures', encouraging adult smokers to switch to said devices? The survey of 1,159 was carried out by Amarach Research and supported by Nicocigs, part of Philip Morris.

Did you know… Luxury Dublin foodhall Fallon & Byrne has returned to profit, with its turnover for last year rising by 19.2%? The group reported a pre-tax profit of €119,365 for the year ending June 2015, while just a year before, it had seen losses of €166,432.

The line up includes aluminium furniture from between €29.99 and €59.99, as well as accessories like cushion sets for €15.99 and placemats for €6.99.
